Coastal holiday in West Denmark

South Jutland

South Denmark is situated in the southern part of the peninsula and closest to the German border.

South Denmark has a lot to offer from Viking sights and beautiful beaches to the home of Hans Christian Andersen.

The southern part of Denmark is also where you can visit the original Legoland and the enchanting Koldinghus castle and its exhibitions.
Whether your dream holiday consists of bathing on the endless, white sandy beaches, angling, riding and walking, culture and history appreciation – or just a stroll through one of South Jutland’s many friendly provincial towns, then it’s all here waiting for you!

North Jutland

This region is famous not only for its fabulously rich scenery and the extra hours of sunshine, but also for its unique, varied natural phenomenon, of the three seas that meet here to bring their own distinctive appeal to this region of Denmark. This region has the wild and foaming North Sea with its mile-long sandy beaches and vast dune landscapes; the milder and far more tranquil Kattegat to the east, and the wonderful, glittering Limfjord to the south with its wealth of idyllic coves and sounds with large and small islands, sheer cliffs and green forests.
