Aalborg has a rich commercial life and in the city centre you’ll therefore find a wide range of specialist shops alongside department stores. There are two long pedestrian streets - Bispensgade and Algade – in the city centre, as well as a few smaller pedestrian streets off these. At Nytorv you will find three large department stores/supermarkets all in a row, and to the south, in City Syd, you will find a large shopping centre containing 60 shops.
