The city centre of Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful quarters of Copenhagen with its impressive palaces, churches, castles, narrow streets and exquisite small townhouses. Not to mention Strøget - the longest pedestrianised shopping street in Northern Europe.

The area of Vesterbro is another exciting quarter and has been promoted the most trendy and creative area in Copenhagen. Here cafés and fashion shops literally have set up all over the place creating one of the hippest places in the city – not just to live in, but to shop, eat, drink and have a great night out.
If a group of 20-somethings is planning a night out, their destination is likely to be the hip Nørrebro. And if they fancy a spot of shopping - for clothes, exotic foods, bric-a-brac or antiques - Nørrebro has that too. Over the last couple of years the area has evolved into one of the city's hottest quarter with an influx of young, hip and ethnic inhabitants.

Surely you have heard about Nyhavn - the oldest part of the Copenhagen Harbour. It is a popular meeting place, and perfect for enjoying a drink in one of the many open air cafes, restaurants and bars. As soon as the sun is out in early spring, the Danes move the chairs and tables outside and from the first summer day the quay is crowded with people who can enjoy the view of the moored wooden sailing boats.
The water is present everywhere in Copenhagen, and another great place to enjoy the beautiful canals and charming ambient is the quaint quarter of Christianshavn, where you will also find Christiania – the free town built on the dreams of a life of freedom and the notion of a town run by the residents themselves. Don’t miss the many exciting and varied restaurants, cafés, venues and shops on offer here.

Only a 15 minutes’ walk from Christianhavn you can reach one of the two harbour baths in Copenhagen, Islands Brygge. A swimming pool, a children’s pool and a diving pool offer something for all ages. And if this is not enough for you, go to the opposite side of the canal and enjoy the palms and sandy beaches of Copencabana Harbour Basin.
