Arp-Hansen opens new hotel
|
|
The Copenhagen Island is the newest creation from the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, and Copenhagen architect Kim Utzon has been chosen to design this unique product. The hotel will be situated on a newly created island right in the middle of Copenhagen harbour, guaranteeing guests a close proximity to Tivoli and the city centre, as well as the Fisketorvet Shoppingcenter right around the corner. The Copenhagen Island will be the biggest of the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, and its unique building, facilities and location offer 4-star quality at a 3-star price. In addition to the 326 rooms, it has meeting facilities for up to 90 people, a fitness room with sauna and spa, a business centre and a restaurant. The landmark of the hotel will be a 7-storey glass tower, which will function as a link between the two wings of the hotel as well as allow for an excellent view of water and city. The construction of the Copenhagen Island will begin in April, 2005, and it will open its doors to the first guests in the summer 2006. www.arp-hansen.com
