The accommodation is very varied from old hotels, restored with respect, to country inns and an old fashioned boarding house surrounded by fields. This tour is not challenging, and several stages may be shortened by using the train. The major attractions on this tour are Copenhagen, Hamlet's castle Kronborg, the modern art museum Louisiana, the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde and the National Museum at the beautiful castle Frederiksborg.

Southern Funen Tour Cycle through the scenic Funen archipelago. The Funen landscape looks like it has been taken from a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. That's no surprise. Hans Christian Andersen was born on Funen, Denmark's "garden isle." Villages with half-timbered houses and thatched roofs dot the landscape all along the way. Ferries and bridges take you to four different islands during a week.
Hotels for this tour are modern, 3- or 4-star properties. Distances are not too challenging and many stages may be shortened. A tour suitable for families.
