There are several Pay and Play courses in Denmark plus a large number of courses that either have no restrictions or operate on a handicap limit of as high as 54. Many of the Pay and Play courses are excellent – several of them having 18 holes.

Denmark is also the country that welcomes less seasoned golfers. Even if you have never played golf before or are a complete novice there are many options open to you. In addition to which it is inexpensive, with green fees ranging from DKK 100 to DKK 180/EUR 14-24 (18-hole courses) and on many courses the green fee entitles you to play all day long. The equipment is cheap to hire and coaching is usually available also.
