How to travel to and from the airport

Denmark has several airports situated conveniently near a major town in the area with domestic and/or international flights. In addition to these "official" airports, quite a few private airports exist which are open to landing private planes and where private planes can be hired, with or without pilot.

If your plane lands at Copenhagen Airport, you can conveniently board the train for Copenhagen Central Station with its many connections to the rest of Denmark.

It takes just 14 minutes to reach the centre of Copenhagen if you go by train from Copenhagen Airport!

The train station at the airport is situated right next to the terminal building where your luggage is returned to you. Train tickets may be purchased at the Airport DSB Travel Centre situated right next to the exit.
The InterCity trains will take you directly to Funen and Jutland with 1 hourly departure on all weekdays, stopping at only the Copenhagen Central Station, whereas the joint Danish-Swedish Malmö-trains (Kystbanen) run from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Central Station with 3 departures the hour with two stops between the airport and the Copenhagen Central Station, at Tårnby and Ørestad. The journey to
the city takes just 14 minutes!

The regional train for Roskilde has one departure every hour, but please note that this train does not call neither at the local stations at Tårnby and Ørestad nor at the Copenhagen central station.

Train schedules etc. can be seen from the home page of the Danish State Railways.
