The wonder ingredient for your event

The ultimate bonus to meeting in Denmark? The food. Not to toot our own horn, but Denmark's culinary food scene may be the best in all of Northern Europe. From sustainable eats to food stalls and Michelin stars, our Nordic gastronomy is sure to add something extra-special to your event.

Bite-size country, world-class cuisine

Denmark may be small in size, but when it comes to Scandinavian gourmet cuisine, we've been leading the way for over a decade. Take your delegates to try out our elegant and delicious New Nordic cuisine - at some of the best restaurants in the world.

Add Denmark's traditional dishes to your event

If you're ready to bring a bit of local flavour into your conference, these Danish classics are a must. Difficult to pronounce but delicious none the less, let us introduce you to our smørrebrød, frikadeller, pastries, hot dogs, beer and more.

Meeting participants with special dietary requirements

Catering to delegates with special dietary requirements is not an issue in Denmark. At most restaurants, vegetarian and vegan options may very well already be on the menu and all are very willing to serve up options for those with special dietary needs and food allergies. Danes are also some of the best non-native English speakers in Europe, lessening the risk that something gets lost in translation. Ask your venue for the options and let your restaurant know of your preferences in advance.

Budget-friendly catering for events

Denmark's food scene is much more than fine dining and Michelin stars. Our scrumptious street food markets or quality hot dogs are a great way to eat cheap and get the most out of your event budget.

How to get to the restaurant from your venue

Denmark is a small, safe and walkable country. Especially in the larger cities such as Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg, most venues are right around the corner from restaurants, bars and night life. Public transportation such as busses, trains and the metro is also quick and efficient and will cost around 25kr each way. Ask your conference venue for directions or get help from the Rejseplanen app to see the fastest route to your restaurant.
