A sign from the sky
On June 15th, 1219 the Danish flag, Dannebrog, appeared on the sky over Lyndanisse in Estonia. Here the Danish king Valdemar 2. was in the middle of a battle against the Estonian pagans, and he was struggling hard. The Danes took the appearance of the flag as a sign and were victorious. So the legend goes.
