Medieval church near Esbjerg.
Bryndum Church is from about the year 1250, and is of special architectural interest, in that it very instructively illustrates the transition from Romanesque to Gothic. The murals in the choir, from about 1275-1300, are probably influenced by German traditions, and represent, amongst other things, the patron saint of the church, St. Lawrence. The Frobenius organ with 14 stops is from 1969.
Bryndum Church is open from 8.00-17.00.
