Rude Beach is a child-friendly sandy beach in the bay of Saksild, a short distance north of Saksild Beach. The beach is sheltered from the west wind because of tall slopes from which you have an excellent view of the ocean. There are great facilities with ample parking spots, toilets, a bathing jetty at free disposal and shopping facilities. The beach has fine sand and good bathing water quality.
When visiting Rude Beach you should stop by Eva Keramik where the owner makes raku ceramics - an old Japanese technique for burning ceramics. Nearby you can also find a grave mound from the Neolithic Age around 3.500 years B.C.
Only one kilometre from Rude, you will find Saksild Beach. Saksild Beach is always bustling with life and activity. Apart from being one of the most popular beaches on Jutland's east coast, it also offers a game of mini golf at the oldest mini golf course in Denmark or a trip to one of the many beach shops.
If you wish to stay near Rude for more than one day then you can stay at Rude Hougaard where they have a holiday flat and rooms for rent or at the camping site Saksild Strand Camping.
