Like the airports of Billund and Copenhagen, Denmark's third largest airport, Aalborg Airport has now gotten its own hotel - the Bühlmann Airport Hotel.

The brand new hotel at Aalborg Airport opened its doors to the public on 1 October 2014 and is run by the Bühlmann Family - 3rd generation owners of the popular Hotel Scheelsminde in Aalborg, North Jutland. It offers 64 double rooms while preparing for a further 52 rooms in the near future.

- It is with great pleasure that Aalborg Airport welcomes the Bühlmann Family with their long-time hotel experience and strong knowledge of the airline industry through its Chairman and Co-owner of the hotel, Peter Christian Jensen, says the Managing Director of Aalborg Airport, Søren Svendsen.

Aalborg Airport is developing rapidly and we believe there is plenty of scope for an airport hotel on an equal footing with other international airports and look forward to operating it, adds Annemette Bühlmann, Director and Co-owner of Scheelsminde.
