It's autumn at Bork Vikingehavn and the Vikings are preparing for the coming of winter. When you visit the Viking harbour in October, you can try your hand at various exciting Viking activities - and if you stop by on Loki's evening on 17 October, you can travel to the kingdom of Hel, if you dare!
Feel the atmosphere at Bork Vikingehavn, get an insight into the everyday life of the Vikings and try your hand at a variety of Viking activities.
In October, in addition to exploring the houses, church and mill, you can bake flatbread over an open fire, learn to write runes, make a beautiful leather purse, try your hand at archery, learn about Viking weapons and try to fight like a real Viking.
Also stop by the sacrificial site in the Sacrifice Grove. Perhaps you have an offering to the gods with a special wish for the coming winter?
Loki's Evening on the 17th of October
When darkness falls on this night, you can meet Loki and his infamous family. You will enter the mysterious and scary world of Norse mythology, and the ravens Hugin and Munin will guide you through the many stories of Loki's wild adventures and the realm of death, Helheim. You can look forward to a dramatic and sensory experience where both young and old will be sucked into the world of myths.
