Bunshin RobotCafé in Aarhus
Visit Bunshin RobotCafé in Aarhus for a new and meaningful café experience where you won't be served by humans, but by robots.
RobotCaféen is a pop-up concept that is part of Øens Madhus from April to September 2025.
The first of its kind
The pop-up café is the first of its kind in Denmark, in fact the first outside Japan, where you can be served by robots remotely controlled by people on the edge of the labour market. The so-called pilots are people who, due to physical or mental challenges, have limited ability to leave their homes, but here they become part of an inclusive working community.
Support an innovative idea
Bunshin is the Japanese term for ‘sharing’ and being in several places at once, and Bunshin RobotCafé gives employees the opportunity to be present through the robots - regardless of their challenges or functional level.
Part of Øens Madhus
Øens Madhus will continue to operate as usual after that. Only part of the café has been transformed into a robot café, so you can also choose to visit Øens Madhus without being served by robots.
