Concert at Bovbjerg Lighthouse and Jens Søndergaards Museum

Bovbjerg Lighthouse and Jens Søndergaard's Museum are jointly organizing a walking concert with the band Vesselil on Sunday, September 15th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Vesselil plays and sings Nordic traditional and newly composed folk music in a kind of "chamber music" style. The trio consists of Clara Tesch on violin, viola, and vocals, Maja Aarøe Freese on five-string cello and lead vocals, and Elisabeth Dichmann on violin and vocals.

3:00 PM: The first half of the concert takes place at Bovbjerg Lighthouse, where the string and vocal trio Vesselil will perform their own raw-swinging compositions rooted in Nordic traditional folk music. Vesselil will invite the audience to sing and dance along in a chain dance before the scene shifts to a walk outdoors.

3:45-4:15 PM: The audience will walk, bike, or drive to Jens Søndergaard's Museum.

4:15 PM: The second half of the concert invites contemplation and reflection in the artistic setting of Jens Søndergaard's Museum, where Vesselil will sing and play Danish folk songs in vivid, modern interpretations.
