Johnny Haugaard’s Flower Exhibition “DANMARK” in Hobro

Experience the magical universe this summer at the GAS Museum in Hobro.

In July and August, you can visit the new flower exhibition created by Johnny Haugaard and the creative volunteers.

At the GAS Museum in Hobro, the Flower Man Johnny Haugaard and a group of creative volunteers are working to create a breathtaking flower exhibition called DANMARK.

The exhibition takes inspiration from the local runestone – and the other Danish runestones that once united Denmark. Step into a world of Norse mythology, Vikings, and the mysterious seeress “The Vølve from Fyrkat”.

Will you also catch a glimpse of the former queen Thyra and King Gorm the Old?
Come and see – the exhibition runs throughout July and August 2025.

Opening hours: Not yet announced – stay tuned for updates.

The Midgard Serpent in Hobro

Get ready for a spectacular experience in the heart of Hobro this July and August.
Start at the GAS Museum, feel the echoes of the Viking Age, follow the serpent through Norse mythology – and end your day in Bramslev Bakker, where the serpent has shed its skin.
