In the atmospheric surroundings of Lyngvig Church, the evening offers a journey from Eastern European tradition to Nordic poetry. Dvořák and Kodály bring out the best of Czech and Hungarian chamber music in luminous trios for two violins and viola – works full of character, rhythm and warmth.

Also featured are duets for violin and viola: Ole Buck's Flowers – one of his most poetic works – and music by award-winning Anette Slaatto, inspired by trees, birdsong and the gentle movements of the wind.
