Sommeråbent på Frilandsmuseet Herning

July 14, 21, and 28, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This summer, we will have extended hours at Frilandsmuseet Herning on Sunday, July 14, 21, and 28.

Among the old fruit trees, you can wander in and out of the cozy farmyard environment, maintained by the dedicated volunteers of the Village Guild. Volunteers will open the houses, allowing visitors to peek inside Ane Marie’s house or experience the atmosphere in the blacksmith's shop. However, the main house remains closed for renovations.

Indoors, you can explore the occupation apartment and learn about life in and around Herning during World War II.

Additionally, you can see the exhibition on the folklorist Evald Tang Kristensen and explore Jens Nielsen's Farmhouse – a popular attraction for children.

Admission is free, and the museum is also open as usual on Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM throughout the summer until August 31.
