Summer Sounds in Fredensborg Palace Church

Every Wednesday in July, Fredensborg Palace Church hosts free summer concerts. Talented musicians fill the historic church with evocative sounds and classical repertoire.

A Varied Concert Programme

The concert series presents five unique musical experiences featuring both instrumental and vocal performances that bring atmosphere and variation.

From Flute Duets to Baroque Ensembles

  • 2 July: “Pas de deux” with Helene Schrøder (flute) and Mie Korp Sloth (organ)

  • 9 July: “Danish Tunes” with Dorthe Zielke (trumpet) and Søren Johannsen (organ)

  • 16 July: “Ensemble Lyrikos” – string quartet

  • 23 July: “Summer Glow Tones” with soprano Monica Stevns and organist Jakob Lorentzen

  • 30 July: “Summer Baroque” with an ensemble from Concerto Copenhagen
