Private rooms are a handy and cheap accommodation offered in all parts of the country. Most private rooms in Denmark are advertised via local tourist offices. It’s possible to reserve some private accommodation with the tourist office before you arrive in Denmark. Others require that you make contact on the day that you need the room.
Prices vary from region to region but as a guide, a single room will cost somewhere between 250 and 425kr, a double from 350 to 575kr, bed-only 100 to 200kr and breakfast around 50kr.
