Ledreborg Palace & Park

Ledreborg Palace situated at the end of a beautiful 7 km long avenue has been the home of the Holstein Ledreborg family since 1739 and is today one of the most impressive examples of the 18th century’s architecture and landscaping in Scandinavia.

The palace contains a unique collection of paintings and furniture, the second floor interior remaining virtually as it was when first created about 250 years ago. On the walls you will still see more than 600 paintings, and the exciting furniture, Gobelins, statues and other effects are still intact in the rooms of Ledreborg including the kithcen. You can also take a look into the old dungeon.

Ledreborg is an impressive place with its thoroughly recreated and innovated park. The completeness of Ledreborg is unique in the Danish cultural history.

The park is open 1st May - 31st October every day from 11 am - 4 pm except for the third weekend in August due to concerts.

The palace is only open for prebooked guided tours and only from 1st May - 30th Sept. Requests on phone +45 46 48 00 38 or Roskilde Lejre Touristoffice +45 46 31 65 65.
Special guided "champagne tours" available.

The palace also offers facilities for parties, fairs, gala dinners and conferences.
