Art Herning
Place: Herning, Denmark. Dates: 26 – 28 January 2024
Find your inner art critic at one of the biggest art fairs in Denmark. Arranged by the Danish Gallery Association and MCH Herning Kongrescenter, over 40 of Denmark’s leading art galleries collate hundreds of works from international and national artists, both established and emerging talent. Better still, they showcase art at all price points – so you're sure to find something special to bring home, no matter your budget.
Fashion Week & Festival
Place: Copenhagen, Denmark. Dates: 29 January – 2 February 2024
Copenhagen Fashion Week is the biggest fashion event in Northern Europe and has developed into an internationally renowned event. For every Copenhagen Fashion Week, a simultaneous Copenhagen Fashion Festival takes place, which includes extraordinary exhibitions, cool street parties, mini concerts, competitions, trend shows and shopping events. It's the perfect place to top up your Scandi-cool vibes.
Winter Jazz
Place: All over Denmark. Dates: TBD
Winter Jazz is an annual nationwide music festival. The festival’s length and nationwide aspect make Winter Jazz an ideal opportunity to meet international stars on tour, new Danish award-winning projects and themes like Jazz for Kids, Future Sound of Jazz and Jazz’n’Poetry. CPH Light Festival
Place: Copenhagen, Denmark. Dates: TBD/February 2024
Copenhagen Light Festival shows the city of Copenhagen in a new light by experimenting with colours, movement, and occasionally sound. It brings together a variety of forces in the making of the installations: light artists and designers, students, organisations and commercial partners and lights up the wintery skies for a magical few days.
CPH:DOX
Place: Copenhagen. Dates: 13 – 24th March 2024
CPH:DOX, the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, is one of the largest documentary film festivals in the world. Discover the works of major international talent and new artists, promising the best experimental film/video works in the field of cinema and visual art.
Fair for Crime Fiction
Place: Horsens. 16 – 17 March 2024
Northern Europe’s largest festival for crime fiction is held every Spring at FÆNGSLET, the infamous former state prison in Horsens. Visitors have the chance to meet popular Nordic/Scandinavian and international writers, publishers and speakers in a true atmosphere of crime fiction.
Tivoli's Summer Season
Place: Copenhagen. 22 March – 22 September 2024
Spring is in the air, which can mean only one thing: time to come out of hibernation and head straight to Tivoli Gardens for a quick ride on a rollercoaster. The perfect way to shake off the winter cobwebs!
Art Tour Southwest
Place: Southwest Jutland. 29 March – 31 March 2024
Over the Easter weekend, over 100 galleries, museums and ateliers open their doors to the public and showcase brilliant artists from across Southwest Jutland. Look for their distinctive logo to know you're in the right place as you twist and turn along the North Sea Coast and the unique Wadden Sea.
