The Danish hotel chain Guldsmeden is set to open its sixth hotel in Copenhagen, located next to Femøren Metro Station just three stops from the airport and 15 minutes from central Copenhagen by 24-hour metro service.
The new 270-room hotel is part of a 23,200m2 converted former office complex that is being repurposed as a mixed-use urban area with 375 youth apartments, a supermarket, a café and large fitness centre. The hotel is located only a few minutes’ walk from the city’s sandy urban beach and water sport lagoon, Amager Strand.
The Guldsmeden collection consists of boutique hotels offering a homely atmosphere and organically certified, sustainable hospitality. The hotel project is designed by AI Hotel Division and set to open in Q3 of 2021.
