Denmark – the most gay-friendly place on the planet

Copenhagen tops the 2019 list of the most gay-friendly places on the planet, according to Lonely Planet.
The famous travel guide has compiled a list of the world’s most progressive, inclusive and accepting destinations that open their arms to the LGBTQ traveller.
Among the reasons to visit Copenhagen cited by Lonely Planet is the hip and super-cool district of Vesterbro, functional yet edgy fashion scene, brilliant array of cocktail bars, excellent range of gay-friendly boutique accommodations and a packed calendar of events.
In 2021, Copenhagen and the neighbouring Swedish city of Malmö are set to co-host the LGBTQIA World Pride in combination with the EuroGames sports event.
