20 July, Time Magazine announced the 2021 edition of their list of the “World’s Greatest Places”.

This year, Denmark’s third largest town of Odense is included in the list as “The Fairy-Tale City”. Among the highlights are the new fairy tale museum, H.C. Andersen’s House, which had it’s soft opening on 30 June, the colourful houses and the warehouse-turned-food market, Storms Pakhus.

Time Magazine notes that that this, their third annual version of the list, is a tribute to the people and businesses at the forefront of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries that have found ways to adapt, build and innovate despite the trying times.

Odense is located a 1.5 hour train ride from Copenhagen and was the birth place of world-renowned fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen.
