Copenhagen Airport – ranked Europe’s most efficient

Copenhagen Airport has been ranked by the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) as Europe’s most efficient for the fourteenth time in the category of airports with between 25 and 40 million passengers.
The ranking looks at how fast passengers pass through security checks and how speedily they can get to gate. ATRS assesses productivity, cost and efficiency annually at around 200 airports worldwide. The assessment is made by a group of leading international scientists and aviation experts.
Copenhagen Airport is currently expanding its capacity to serve 40 million passengers annually. This means that arrival and departure terminals, gate concourses and other airport facilities must grow to almost double size.
