A new Comwell Hotel is to be developed in the heart of Copenhagen’s largest dockland development, Nordhavn. The hotel will be situated right next to a metro station (opening 2019) and in close proximity to many businesses and the UN city. The new hotel will feature 493 rooms in addition to 18 conference and meeting facilities. There will also be a bar and restaurant. The hotel marks the first hotel in Copenhagen entirely operated by the Comwell chain.
Danish design company Vipp, known for their classic pedal bins, has opened what they call the Vipp Hotel, which consists of standalone hotel apartments at different locations. Their first apartment is a 400m2 converted loft in Copenhagen’s Islands Brygge district. Read about the loft here. The newly constructed conference hotel is designed to reflect the 1930s architecture of Copenhagen’s meatpacking district, Kødbyen – a district that is also home to the Øksnehallen exhibition space. An old coal gantry crane in Copenhagen's northern docklands has been converted into a one-room luxury hotel complete with side-by-side soaking tubs and a glass-walled meeting room seating 20 persons. The hotel-in-a-crane also provides a complimentary BMW i3, bikes and a concierge service.

The Dutch hotel chain CitizenM opens its first Scandinavian hotel close to Copenhagen City Hall Square. Check-in at the design hotel will take place in the rooftop panorama lounge where there will also be a sky bar.

Part of their expansion project to reach 20 Zleep hotels in Denmark by 2020, the new Zleep Hotel Copenhagen Arena will be constructed next to the Royal Arena and Ørestad Station with easy access to the airport. Apart from the budget hotel, the project also includes a parking garage for 300 cars.

Copenhagen's former central post office located next to the Central Station is set to be transformed into a Clarion Hotel. The heritage building is set to welcome "quality conscious business and leisure travellers." The hotel will offer conference facilities, a wellness centre and 5 different restaurant and bar concepts.
Located by the seafront close to the aquarium one metro stop from Copenhagen Airport, the 13-storey hotel will offer a restaurant, pool, sauna, fitness centre, sky bar and conference facilities seating more than 400 persons. There will also be 200 parking lots.

Located 10km north of Copenhagen and surrounded by leafy parkland, the hotel offers 74 rooms, several conference facilities and a restaurant. As of 2 January 2018, the hotel joins Best Western and will become part of their Sure Hotel by Best Western brand.
The hotel is to undergo extensive refurbishment. The first stage will include converting the top-floor hotel lounge into 5 new hotel rooms as a kind of separate boutique hotel. The refurbishment plans include all public areas and rooms.
The fourth and last stage of the refurbishment of 76 rooms at Zleep Hotel Copenhagen City will be completed in April 2018. The last stage, the top floor, will be completed later in 2018, which will include a breakfast restaurant and a new café concept.
