Helsingør Camping

Cosy camping by the Sound with Kronborg as its neighbour. Elsinore Camping ”Grønnehave” is a small, intimate camping site with an amazing location.

View over the Sound, direct access to Elsinore’s best beaches, and in walking distance to Kronborg Castle, M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark, and Elsinore town center.

Elsinore Camping is open all year round with room for caravans, motor homes, and tents. Moreover, the site has 12 well-equipped cabins. Here, you find a mini-market, wireless internet, disabled toilet washing machine, and tumbler. For families with children, there are a playground, bonfire place, and beach volley on the beach. Please find more information on the organization and facilities of the site here.

Elsinore – history and culture in one town

Elsinore is unique and has so much to offer. Kronborg Castle is the town’s landmark and is a renaissance castle beyond ordinary and one of the UNESCO World Heritage spots. Each summer, Shakespeare’s play is brought alive during Hamlet Live and Shakespeare Festival and the younger neighbor M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark invites you in to see award-winning architecture and exhibitions. An experience for both adults and children. The Øresund Aquarium, the Danish Museum of Science & Technology, the city museums and the well-preserved historical city center are all worth seeing – add to this the fact that many great events take place in Elsinore all year round.

Attractive to anglers

The nearby Nordhavnen where fishing vessels take anglers to the sea makes Elsinore Camping very popular among anglers. The site has a kitchen for fish, a drying room, freezing possibilities and the sale of fishing licenses.

Bicycles for rent

Elsinore Camping has engaged in co-operation with the Danish enterprise Donkey Republic in terms of bicycle rental. You can rent quality bicycles by means of your smartphone, both during and outside opening hours – please find more information here

20 minutes to Sweden

Go by ”the pedestrian ferry” Sundbussen or one of the big ForSea ferries to visit Sweden on the other side of the Sound. It only takes 20 minutes to sail to Sweden where Helsingborg and Skåne wait for new experiences.
