Brorfelde Observatory sits beautifully in the rolling hills near Brorfelde, about a 10-minute drive south of Holbæk in Holbæk Municipality. Today it is a wild nature discovery centre and an ideal setting for school camps, school stays and group overnight stays in the heart of West Zealand's countryside.

For the school camp there is sleeping space for 45 overnight guests across seven rooms and two dormitories. There is a large dining hall with long tables seating 32 people and a production kitchen so you can cook together. An auditorium seats 60 people with a projector, sound and boards.

As part of the stay, a school-service programme with dedicated educators is included, where you can choose between several exciting courses in astronomy, geology or biology. This makes the school camp both educational and active, with the universe, the earth and nature at its centre.

Groups who want to sleep outdoors can also use the stargazing shelters, where each shelter holds 6-8 people and the area can accommodate up to 32 at a time, ideal for a school class. Brorfelde lies in Denmark's only protected natural dark-sky area, so the starry sky here is truly special.
