Bornholm design for children – created at Nexø Harbour

Explore a playful universe of Bornholm design for children at CHARLiES ROOM on Nexø Harbour. Here, animals and small stories from Bornholm’s nature become hand-drawn motifs on posters, sweatshirts and tote bags.

Meet the hare hopping through the grass, the bombardier beetle and the rare soldier tick – some of the Bornholm animals that have found their way into CHARLiES ROOM’s universe. Each motif tells a small story about the island’s nature and invites both children and adults to explore outdoors.

From drawing to finished design at the harbour

All motifs are drawn by hand and printed locally at Nexø Harbour. The physical shop is located alongside the production in the old fish auction hall, giving you a close look at where CHARLiES ROOM’s designs come to life.

Coffee Creative is also located in the same space. Combine your visit with a freshly brewed coffee, something sweet or a cold drink, and perhaps take it down to the quay overlooking the Baltic Sea.
