Fanø Bad
Fanø Bad has flourished again in recent years. The town center has been renovated and a new square has been created.

New shops and cafés have opened, bringing renewed energy and activity throughout the year. Fanø Bad is home to Denmark’s oldest golf course, which is also the country’s only true links course. The course is set within a natural coastal landscape of dunes, marram grass and sea views. Adjacent to the golf course, visitors will also find mini-golf courses and a tennis court.
Fanø Bad is best known for its wide sandy beach, stretching along the North Sea coast and offering plenty of space for both relaxation and activities. The beach features volleyball courts, opportunities for beach football, and excellent conditions for kite flying and a variety of beach sports. It is also a popular destination for long walks, swimming and nature experiences throughout the year, with each season bringing its own unique atmosphere to the area.
The combination of beach life, nature, outdoor activities and cosy cafés and restaurants makes Fanø Bad an attractive holiday destination for families, couples and active travellers alike. The area is full of life during the summer months, while the rest of the year offers tranquillity, expansive views and authentic North Sea experiences.
