Fishing in Aarøsund

South of the harbour, all the way down to Gammelbro Camping, there is a steep slope into deep water. This is a great place in the summer, as the near constant current always brings fresh water past.

At the same time, flocks of herrings and sand lances draw past, so the trouts all line up along the waters edge and wait.

You should be careful when wade-fishing, as the current can be very strong beyond the edge.
