Gerlev Play Park – Games and Play for All Ages

Gerlev Legepark near Gerlev outside Slagelse in West Zealand is a truly special place where old games, sport and movement from all over the world come alive again. In the three-hectare park the whole family can throw themselves into more than 100 traditional games and activities drawn from several thousand years of play history.

The park is divided into different areas, including a large playground, a Viking area and a parkour track, all inviting children and adults to active play. There are no screens here, just space and time to play, compete and enjoy time together outdoors.

Gerlev Legepark builds on the Danish sporting tradition and is run by Center for Leg. The place shares play culture from many countries and across many generations, making a visit both fun and educational.

If you would like to stay overnight, there is a shelter site with room for up to 45 people across two shelters with a shared campfire area, surrounded by trees and overlooking the park pond.
