Bring the family inside Hannes Hus, where the old baking oven will be fired up this afternoon and sætkage baked using traditional recipes.

About 50 years ago, sætkage was packed in picnic baskets on Fanø for outings. Originally, sætkage was made with the first rich milk from a cow that had just calved. We cannot promise that during the fall break, but we can promise warmth in the old rooms, the aroma of fresh baking and violin music by Dorte Uhrbrand.

A cozy afternoon in a traditional Sønderho home.
