Chartering the excursion boat Lille Claus for groups

Travel companies, groups, businesses and private parties increasingly charter the whole boat outside the regular sailing times of the season.

The excursion boat Lille Claus can carry up to 60 passengers, with room for 60 dining guests at handsome mahogany tables. The boat has a toilet, is covered, and has sides that can be closed against wind and rain in bad weather while still keeping the view.

Accessibility

Up to two wheelchair users can be accommodated (non-electric, and only from the Søgade landing stage), as Sorø Bådfart has an approved accessibility lift. This must be stated when booking in advance.

Practical information

Commentary on board is provided by recording, in Danish or English. The boat carries liability insurance; further compensation is governed by maritime law.

Places at the stated sailing times can be reserved through Sorø Town Office, as can charter trips outside these hours. Current sailing times are available on the website.
