Join opera singer Niels Jørgen Riis and linguist Alex Speed Kjeldsen for an afternoon celebrating the Bornholm dialect. The event takes its starting point in the book "Fæm eventyr å H.C. Andersen", a collection of five popular Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales published in the Bornholm dialect for the first time: The Princess and the Pea, The Tinderbox, What the Old Man Does Is Always Right, Little Claus and Big Claus, and The Ugly Duckling.

Niels Jørgen Riis was born in Nyker and became an opera soloist at the Royal Danish Theatre in 1998. He is a dedicated advocate for the Bornholm language. Alex Speed Kjeldsen holds degrees in Nordic philology, works at the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics, and speaks the Bornholm dialect himself.
