A golden new Nordic design, a 37-room airport hotel and an extra 7 gate terminal. These are just some of the new developments awaiting travelers in Aarhus Airport in 2022.

Serving Aarhus and located 35 minutes north of the city, Aarhus Airport is set to open its first hotel. Located close to the terminal, the airport hotel will be managed by the airport itself and will offer 37 rooms. The hotel is set to open in 2022.

The airport departure hall is currently undergoing major redevelopment with a new 7-gate transit lounge and a new restaurant area. The terminal furnishing is supplied by Danish design company HAY and new in-terminal family activities include a children’s play zone and an indoor football pitch.
