For thrill-seekers who want speed and butterflies
The forest is packed with experiences for every tempo — from family-friendly favourites to rides that really deliver that adrenaline rush. If you love fast rides, look out for:
Orkanen – Northern Europe’s only roller coaster that runs both above and below water.
Lynet – famous for its rocket start: 0–80 km/h in just 2 seconds.
Falken – Denmark’s fastest wooden coaster (top speed 75 km/h).
And then there’s the park’s biggest showstopper:
Fønix – Denmark’s biggest roller coaster
Fønix rises around 40 metres above the forest floor and races through the treetops with a top speed of about 95 km/h (minimum height 120 cm). In 2022, it also won several international awards, including “Best Roller Coaster in Europe” and “Europe’s Best New Roller Coaster.”
Denmark’s biggest Aquapark
Don’t forget your swimwear - Fårup’s Aquapark offers water slides, waves, and splashy fun for the whole family. In 2024, the Aquapark was expanded with two new large water slides, a new children’s water play area, and new changing facilities.
