A gallery you might almost miss – and never forget

In the heart of Svaneke’s old streets lies Galleri Kosteskabet, an exhibition space so small you might have to look twice to notice it. At just 4 m² in the entrance of a private home, Debbie Kathrine Sørensen and Franz Bomberg open the door to an art experience that quickly feels bigger than the room itself.

Here, walls are replaced by illustrations, prints and small-scale stories that still carry a strong presence. Franz Bomberg presents his humorous and recognisable illustrations, including work from “Klippeøens ABC”, while Debbie Kathrine Sørensen shows prints inspired by nature and our relationship with it.

Since opening in 2024, the tiny gallery has attracted curious visitors, often forming a small queue outside, as only a couple of people can enter at a time. It is a place where art comes very close – not because it takes up space, but because it fills it completely.
