Kyndby Kirke

(Kyndby church)

The orginal Kyndby church dates back to the beginning of the 12th century. It is built of light-yellow travertine rock in Romanesque style.

Some of the original frescoes on the north wall date back to around 1175 AD. They are thought to be the work of a painter from the village of Jørlunde who is known for his frescoes in a number of other churches in the northwest part of Zealand.
