The Michelin-starred restaurant on the seventeenth floor

On the 17th floor of the Alsik Hotel & Spa in Sønderborg, you’ll find Restaurant Syttende. Here, dinner consists of approx. 15 courses that reflect the changing seasons.

As the courses are served, you can enjoy the view of Sønderborg and the South Jutland countryside from the restaurant’s vantage point high above the town.

Gastronomy with a view of Sønderjylland

Restaurant Syttende’s kitchen focuses on excellent, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant prioritises sourcing locally, and you can see many of the areas where the ingredients come from directly from the restaurant.

Head chef Peter Rødsgaard and his team are responsible for the menu. To accompany your meal, you can choose wine from the restaurant’s wine list or from the selection of Danish beer, cider and non-alcoholic drinks.

Restaurant Syttende received its first Michelin star in 2021. In 2026, the restaurant was also named ‘Culinary Hideaway of the Year Denmark’ by Falstaff Nordic.

It is recommended that you book a table well in advance.
