Solbakken Naturist Camping – naturism and relaxation by Isefjord

Solbakken Naturistcamping is beautifully located in a protected natural area directly on the shores of the Isefjord. The site offers a beach with a bathing jetty and a floating raft, as well as a mooring jetty for sailors and windsurfers.

Solbakken Naturist Camping is located directly on the shores of Isefjord in a protected natural area on the Hornsherred peninsula, close to the scenic Ejby Ådal valley and just a one-hour drive from Copenhagen. The campsite is well suited for day visits, weekend stays and longer holidays in peaceful, nature-focused surroundings.

The campsite is a three-star naturist campsite covering approximately 7 hectares, offering facilities and amenities comparable to other campsites in Denmark. The area is laid out in an old apple orchard with more than 100 pitches spread across two plateaus, providing ample space for both social interaction and personal privacy.

Naturism as a way of life

Solbakken has its roots in Naturistforeningen Sjælland (the Zealand Naturist Association), founded in 1961 to promote naturism as a way of life. Naturism is based on respect for oneself, for others and for the environment, and encourages the freedom to enjoy nature whenever weather and conditions allow.

Experiences by Isefjord

The campsite offers direct access to the fjord, including a beach, a private bathing jetty and a floating platform for swimmers. There is also a jetty for sailors and windsurfers, and Isefjord is well known for its excellent recreational fishing opportunities. The area invites relaxation, swimming and time spent close to the water.

Overnight stay in a shelter

In one corner of the campsite, about 150 metres from the beach, there is a cosy shelter accommodating up to three people. It offers a simple, back-to-nature overnight experience with views of the fjord and close contact with both nature and the everyday life of the campsite. The shelter can be booked separately.
