Vedbygaard Gods is a historic manor house near Ruds Vedby in West Zealand, with roots stretching back to 1312. For over 300 years, the estate was home to the noble Rud family, who shaped the property from 1429 until 1738. During the turbulent Count's Feud in the 1530s, the original buildings were burned, but the manor was rebuilt with impressive late Gothic architecture that still defines its character today.

The estate's distinctive three-winged layout features crow-stepped gables and atmospheric moats dating from around 1540, creating a setting that speaks of centuries of Danish noble heritage. The north and south wings preserve their late Gothic origins, while the main building reflects later architectural refinements that blend harmoniously with the older structures.

Today, Vedbygaard Gods serves as an exclusive venue for weddings, celebrations, and conferences. The combination of historic architecture, beautiful natural surroundings, and the timeless elegance of the moated manor house makes it a unique destination for those seeking an extraordinary setting on West Zealand. Whether for a romantic wedding ceremony or an inspiring corporate event, Vedbygaard offers an authentic experience steeped in more than 700 years of Danish cultural history.
