With more than 100 large theatre- and music events every year, Aalborg Congress and Culture Center offers everything from famous international solo artists, international operas, ballet and musicals to revues, classic concerts, children’s theatre, and pop and rock concerts.

AKKC is certified to ISO 20121

Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is certified to the international standard ISO 20121 for events and meetings and is also Swan-labelled as a conference centre. These certifications set requirements for areas including operations, procurement, resources and the organisation of events. In its day-to-day operations, AKKC works to minimise food waste, sort waste and increase recycling, amongst other things. There is also a focus on the consumption of water, heating and electricity. Furthermore, AKKC uses electricity generated by wind turbines. When you hold a reception, dinner, meeting or conference at AKKC, these initiatives form part of the centre’s operations.

Aalborg Congress and Culture Center is the perfect setting whether you are planning a congress with up to 2,500 participants or just a meeting with 10 people. All meeting rooms are equipped with the latest technical facilities, and the center is happy to help you arrange catering and entertainment either before or after an event.

The center also offers direct walking access to hotel Scandic Aalbog City with 168 rooms.
