Art on the island Fur
Fur is "the Island of Art." The art association Furkunst brings together the many active artists on Fur. On Fur, you will find several large galleries and a total of around 20 studios and art workshops.
On Fur, you will find art in many forms:
Jewelry design, ceramics, painting, photographic art, crafts, sculptures, knitwear design, woodturning, and drawings – each with its own unique style.
Along the roads of Fur, you will also see the many famous fish created by the Furkunst association. They are made by local artists. No two fish are alike, and they are thought-provoking, inspiring, humorous, and full of life.
Many galleries and art workshops have fixed opening hours, but most are also happy to open their doors for you by appointment.
