Åsø Forest

Åsø Forest is located northwest of Tranekær towards the Langeland coast. The forest, which is mainly beech and spruce forest, is crossed by a few small roads, some of which are also cycle route 80. At Åsø Strand, the remains of a ferry bridge can still be seen. Here, cargo ships lay, and agricultural products were loaded. At that time also the Count's private yacht lay at the bridge (about 100 years ago).
