Bathing beach Illeris
In Hvalpsund, you'll find Illeris Strand, perfect for child-friendly relaxation by the water.
Illeris Beach is the ideal beach for children. The water is only 30 to 40 cm deep, with plenty of space to build sandcastles and enjoy the tranquility.
Beginner surfers have good opportunities, as the water is so shallow that you can stand even in the wind. You can pick up your sail as long as you have the energy for it.
The beach is located between Hvalpsund and Ertebølle beaches. Ertebølle Bike Route No. 36 passes right by this long beach.
In Illeris Plantage, there are 2 different marked hiking routes. A good place to gather mushrooms and blackberries
