World-class gravel race – Ø/Strøm Langeland Rundt by bike
Start and finish in the heart of Rudkøbing
Ø/Strøm Langeland Rundt will be held on Saturday 29 August at 10 a.m. and this year offers a new setting – with both the start and finish in Rudkøbing. This makes it easy and quick to get to and from the race, while also giving both riders and spectators the opportunity to enjoy the town's cosy cafés, restaurants and shops before and after the race.
Gravel, grit and a great atmosphere
As always, Ø/Strøm Langeland Rundt is a classic gravel race – you cycle along beautiful country roads, field paths, trails and gravel roads. It is an experience in motion through all the best Langeland has to offer: coastal stretches, open landscapes, rolling hills, forests and small roads with sea views most of the way.
Three routes – something for everyone
Whether you are an elite athlete, a fitness enthusiast or completely new to gravel cycling, there is a route for you:
- 127 km – A tough and unique route for the elite and the well-trained
- 73 km – A demanding and beautiful route for the tough fitness enthusiasts
- 28 km – A pleasant and fun route for beginners, families and those curious about cycling
Food, refreshment stations and community
Along the way, you will find pleasant refreshment stations at manor houses with food and a great atmosphere. In the finish area in Rudkøbing, delicious food, a cosy atmosphere and the opportunity to share your experiences with both riders and spectators await you.

When you are in Rudkøbing, take the time to enjoy the town's charming cobbled streets, shops and cafés. You are also close to Stengade Beach, the Archipelago Trail and, last but not least, the South Funen Archipelago – part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago.
Practical information
Rudkøbing is easy to reach by public transport and parking in the town is readily available. The start and finish areas are centrally located and there are good facilities for both riders and spectators. The gravel race takes place on routes with varied surfaces and requires a suitable bike. The race is not suitable for racing bikes with very narrow tyres.
