Bondemose and "pyramid" (26,2 km)
The route south of Ullerslev is an idyllic tour featuring marshes, mills, churches, and Denmark's only 'pyramid', Degnes Høj. The trip is approximately 26 km long.

Ullerslev – South Route – 31 km
1. The tour begins at Ullerslev Kirke (Ullerslev Church). A characteristic feature of this church is the small ridge turret (messespir) on the roof of the nave. Follow Kirkekrogen to Bondemosevej and turn right. A little further ahead, you will find a cycle path; follow this for a few hundred metres before turning left. Follow the path system along the meadows in Bondemosen. When you reach the end of the meadow area, follow the gravel path to the left. Where the gravel path ends, turn right onto L. Kr. Larsensvej and follow it to Vestergade. Turn right here. At Svendborgvej, turn right again and follow the path through the tunnel.
2. Follow Hindemaevej and turn towards Hindemae.
3. Follow the road under the motorway. Immediately after, you will reach Skellerup Kirke (Skellerup Church) and the rectory. A little further ahead, turn left onto Skellerup Byvej (a dead-end road for cars). Cross the main road and continue along Balsgyden. Here, turn onto the gravel path at...
4. ...Balsgyden no. 4, passing by Grønne Mølle. Like the other mills described, this mill produced energy to grind grain, among other things.
5. When you reach the main road again, you will see Biskopstaarup on your right.
6. and 7. Here you will see Grøfte Mølle and shortly after (7) Degnens Høj. This hill was created in the mid-19th century. The local teacher at Skellerup School at the time, Hans Hansen, wanted to illustrate to his students the hardships of the Israelites during their exile in Egypt. The girls carried earth in their aprons, while the boys carried stones. From the top of the hill, there is a magnificent view over East Funen.
8. In Ellinge, the route leads to the "Bystævnetræ" (the village meeting tree) near Ellinge Church. The tree is very distinctive and is kept neatly trimmed by the residents of Ellinge.
9. On Bierne Møllevej, you will find the last mill of the trip. After this, the route returns via the main road to Ullerslev Kirke.
