A journey through 100 years of Bornholm art

At Bornholms Kunsthandel, you step into more than 100 years of Bornholm art history. Here you’ll find works by over 150 artists – from the early 1900s to the present day – brought together in a space where the island’s artistic development becomes visible through colour, form and expression.

Paintings, lithographs and watercolours hang side by side, offering a vivid insight into how Bornholm has been interpreted by generations of artists. Established names stand alongside newer voices, continuing the story of the island’s distinctive light and landscapes.

Bornholms Kunsthandel was founded in 2021 by Kim Kofod, who has spent many years building a deep knowledge of the Bornholm art scene. His collection makes it possible to experience the breadth of the island’s art – all in one place, right in Rønne.
